Oil graphics card fan
The noise from my Sapphire HD 5870 Vapor-X graphic card fan has been driving me nuts for the past couple of months. Removed it recently when I can’t stand it any longer. Found this site; looks promising. Would love to try this but I just don’t know how to open up my graphic card. And the sample kits are just amazing!! So well made with beautiful labels and info cards - again just saving on time to make them on my own. I'm truly a fan of ORD and believe that every distributor should have a vault subscription. Best cure for cooling fans i ever found was a tiny drop of 3-IN-1 oil, used it as a kid 30+years ago and still works today, no joke. I know your just reading that about to LOL but its true, tested and i approve take fan off, pull sticker off back, drop of oil in. wd40 is not good for this. this may prolong fan life a little. use hotglue or zip ties or whatever to strap a normal fan to the card, or whatever fan u got lying around. use a fan speed control if need be

First I want to oil my fans (CPU, GPU, and case fan). I don't In the presence of alcohol as a solvent, it is an oil lubricant. Replace the complete fan with good quality ball bearing fans by reputable manufacturers that know how to And imbalance is fixed using a file (if you're patient and OCD) or a credit card (if you're not).
